Relatively close to the center. It's a good neighborhood, near the subway. Outlets by each bed, great WiFi.
No towel, no shampoo and shower gel. The sheets are torn.

During my recent stay at Smart Hyde Park Inn, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the showers and the convenient location. The showers were well-maintained and provided a refreshing experience after a day of exploring. Additionally, the hostel's location made it easy to access various bus and subway stops, allowing for quick and convenient transportation throughout the city. I would highly recommend Smart Hyde Park Inn for its cleanliness and excellent location.

Locationally it was perfect, just off Hyde Park and right opposite the tube station at Bayswater.
Its cheap, so you should not be looking for glitz and glamour, the rooms are very warm at night, with no proper ventilation so in the dorms it can smell a little like feet! But you are only sleeping there. The showers have the pressure of zero and if there are more than a few of the showers working you should just use a sink.

Location, warm water in showers, facilities were relatively clean, price, free Wi-fi (although it was often hard to maintain a connection)
Breakfast is verrrrrry simple (just coffee and white toast with butter/jam) and there's a long line to use the toaster machine. I barely slept at all as there was a loud snorer in the room who even woke up the other person that I was snoring. They should have a special room for these people! Rooms were hard to find and the hallways were a labyrinth. People came in and out at all hours, which made it so difficult to sleep that I had to cover my ears with headphones and listen to my iPod before I could drift off despite how tired I was. You had to constantly push the button to take a shower (no soap, towel or hair products are provided for free).

- Location 1 block away from underground, good for sightseeing and safe. - Ok prices considering location. - Polite staff
My room was filthy when I arrived (although later that same day it was cleaned). The entire hostel (specially the toilets) smelled strongly like stinky cleaning products. Yes, it means it is clean, but still it is a sickning smell. Short bed, I'm not so tall, only 1.78m, and my feet and head touched wall to wall. The duvet did not look very clean, it had some brownish stains. The building, all facilities and room look very much worn. The free breakfast is not so substantial (butter, jam, toast, cereal and cofffee - so don't count on that to fuel you for the morning) and it was so crowded I gave up making myself toast. The trunks on the room are payed (cash only), even if you bring your own lock. Luggage room use is payed (cash only). Charges fee for credit card use.

Location (near to Bayswater Tube station and local facalities such coffee shops, restaurants, shops, banks)
Carry I.D - They will ask for I.D (Passport or Driving Licence) even for UK residents! This is not mentioned when you book. I stayed in "Room 93" which was directly next to the lounge, reception and kitchen and was very noisey even at 2am!.

I recently stayed at Smart Hyde Park Inn for a week-long vacation in the heart of the city. The staff at the hostel were incredibly welcoming and friendly, always offering helpful advice on where to find the best food and navigate the city. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transportation and a variety of fast food and grocery stores nearby. I especially enjoyed walking through the beautiful Kensington gardens and taking a stroll down Oxford Street. Additionally, the common room provided a great opportunity to meet new friends and explore London's landmarks together. I highly recommend this hostel for its warm atmosphere and convenient location.
Despite some minor issues, I do recommend this hotel.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Free wifi. Good location.
Was not really clean bathrooms and toilets, not convinient lockers, nothing at the kitchen (like tea or coffee). No breakfast for early check-out. For this money could get much better accommodation.

I had a fantastic time at the hostel. The location was unbeatable, just a few steps away from the underground. I felt safe and secure throughout my stay. The room was a bit small, but the beds were surprisingly spacious, perfect for tall individuals like me. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any inquiries. I also appreciated the ATM in the reception area, making it convenient to withdraw cash. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hostel for its convenient location, friendly staff, and comfortable beds.

I loved that there is a 24hr reception, as I had to leave the hostel at 4am!
My room. The bed in itself was good, but the structure kept moving and creaking everytime someone climbed up to their bed. Plus, the people who came back late had not much respect towards those sleeping, turning the lights on at 1am, speaking to each other, ...
